About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District published a Special Notice soliciting early industry feedback on a draft request for proposal for a $99 million Rapid Disaster Infrastructure #2 multiple award task order contract. The contracting agency intends to use the vehicle to issue task orders for disaster response infrastructure projects across the contiguous United States and outlying areas.

The Special Notice provides contractors an opportunity to review and comment on the draft RFP, with comments due via the ProjNet bidder inquiry system by the date a final RFP is released. The contracting agency seeks qualified HUBZone small businesses to perform work such as levee construction and repair, flood control projects, dredging, and shoreline maintenance through the multiple award task order contract. Contractors are instructed not to submit proposals in response to the draft RFP, as a formal solicitation will be released at a later date with responses due according to the terms of that final RFP. Eligible offerors will have the ability to compete for task orders for infrastructure recovery efforts valued at up to $99 million over the five year base period and one three year option.
