This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #2005-71 Effective 25Nov2013.
This combined synopsis/solicitation is being competed on a 100% Small Business (SB) set aside. This acquisition will be competed to the full extent required by regulation. The NAICS code that applies is 238210 and business size is $14.0 Million.
This requirement is for Replacement and Various Door Upgrade and testing of:
Twenty-two (22) Superscan II Door Mounted Safety Sensors, eight (8) 24 volt transformers, one (1) ED400 Single Surface Applied Automatic Swing Door Operator, one (1) ED250-LE Low-Energy Surface Applied Automatic Swing Door, two (2) MSO8U Touchless Wall switch, two (2) Monitor Strikes, eight (8) Fire rated electric panic devices, four (4) Power Supplies, one (1) ESA 300 Bi-Part Automatic Sliding Door Unit w/ Transom, one (1) ESA 300 Bi-Part Automatic Sliding Door Unit, two (2) Jackson Paddle 1085 Exit Devices, one (1) Auto lock, two (2) ED700 Single Surface Applied low Energy Swing Door Operators, four (4) 4 ¾" square with handicap logo and push to open text, four (4) 4 ¾" square surface mount box, two (2) 433MHz receiver - digital, four (4) 433MHz transmitter - digital, two (2) time delay relay, two (2) electric strike, two (2) transformers, (2) Sliding Door Tempered Glass
Locations are Bldg. 100, 103, 103a and 106.
Quote submitted must at a minimum Brand Name or Equal characteristic. Each quote will be evaluated in accordance with the Brand Name or Equal.

SITE VISIT: See clause 52.237-1, Site Visit (APR 1984).
The site visit will be conducted on May 14, 2014, 10;00 am (EST) at the DORN VAMC, Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Contractors shall report to Building 22, Logistics Conference Room 3B105. Point of contact for this site visit will be Mr. Justin Osborne. NOTE: This is the ONLY site visit scheduled for this project; individual or separate site visits will not be scheduled. This is not a mandatory site visit, but it is highly encouraged to attend before submitting a quote.
