Added: Feb 04, 2013 5:29 pm Modified: Feb 19, 2013 5:58 pmTrack Changes Pre-solicitation Notice: The Department of The Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate, Boise, ID intends to issue a solicitation to obtain fully Contractor-operated and maintained On Call (OC) small (Type-III) helicopter flight services to transport personnel and/or cargo in support of Government natural resource missions in the Conterminous 48 States. Missions will include, but are not limited to, interagency fire management program support such as wildland fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, rehabilitation seeding, search and rescue, law enforcement limited to non-threatening surveillance and other administrative and related resource activities. The performance period is approximately May 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014 with three one-year options. The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts from this solicitation at various locations throughout the Conterminous 48 States. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for participation by small business concerns under NAICS code 481211 which has a small business size standard of 1,500 employees or less. The Contractor shall possess Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificates issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The services of this Request for Proposals (RFP) are being acquired under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Sub Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The apparent successful offeror(s) must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly known as CCR, in order to be awarded a contract.
