About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation has published a Special Notice regarding the DLA Weapons Support TF33 Spares Requirements Projection on the Web (RPOW) for Spring 2026. This notice is classified under Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing (NAICS 3364) and focuses on gas turbines, jet engines, aircraft components, and related parts (PSC 2840). The RPOW document was posted on April 2, 2026, and provides contractors with projected spare part requirements for potential competitive and non-competitive opportunities spanning up to three fiscal years. This notice does not constitute a formal invitation for bid or request for proposal, but rather serves as an informational resource for market planning purposes.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to communicate the Defense Logistics Agency's forecasted spare parts requirements for TF33 engines to potential contractors, enabling them to align their business planning with government demand signals. The notice explicitly clarifies that projections may fluctuate due to variability in customer demands and operational priorities, particularly during the execution year, though the listed projections represent validated budget allocations and anticipated requirements. While there is no set-aside restriction and the notice carries a due date of September 30, 2026, contractors should understand that these forecasts are preliminary planning tools and do not obligate the government to purchase the described items. Interested contractors in aerospace component manufacturing are encouraged to review the detailed 2026_APRIL_PROJ_TF33.xlsx file to identify potential opportunities and inform their strategic positioning in this sector. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation intends to publish updated RPOW lists on a biannual schedule, with subsequent editions appearing in both spring and fall cycles.
