About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring a Distribution Box (NSN 7H-6110-015010687, TDP VER 005) classified under the Electrical Control Equipment product service code. This is a single-source acquisition for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one contractor, as suitable technical data, government data rights, and manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from alternative sources. The procurement requires compliance with DoD-STD-100 standards, and interested parties may access Military and Federal Specifications, Qualified Products Lists, and other standardized documents through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) via ASSIST-Online or by contacting the ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on March 31, 2023, with a due date of October 28, 2025, providing potential offerors with an extended timeframe to prepare their responses and gather necessary technical documentation.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and requires delivery of 10 units FOB Origin. The notice does not specify an incumbent contractor, potential award value, or budget range; however, the single-source justification indicates that only a source specified on source control or selected item drawings will be considered for award. No incumbent information or specific pricing data is provided in the pre-solicitation notice. Offerors lacking internet access may request relevant documentation by contacting the DODSSP directly at the Philadelphia location (DLA Document Services, Bldg. 4/D, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19111-5094) or by phone, ensuring all parties have access to the necessary technical requirements and standards for bid preparation.
