Notice text

This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to Program Support Center (PSC) Task Order Holders.

This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) procurement. Pursuant to FAR Part 52.201-11, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reporting Requirements (MAR 2009), the Contractor is required to register by July 1, 2010 and file their fist report by July 10, 2010 at www.federalreporting.gov.

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation intends to award one task order under the PSC Task Orders.

The purpose of this project is to use case studies to analyze six examples of CER dissemination and adoption of findings that propose actions contrary to practice current at the time. At least two examples will be instances where the proposed course of action could logically lead to lower income for the provider. At least one of the examples should be of an instance in which the dissemination was not successful in conveying new information to health care professionals and/or patients and potential patients in ways that promoted adoption. Lack of success will be defined by considering both whether the CER recommendations were generally adopted into practice, and also by considering the extent of public clamor and the clarity of the public discussion following release of the recommendations. The analysis of how the dissemination was conducted in the case studies and the extent to which CER findings are adopted will contribute to a report with specific, step-by-step lessons learned, including suggestions for the methods to explain findings to health professionals and the public, dissemination approaches, and strategies that promote adoption , as well as a related journal article

The period of performance of the resultant task order will be for 1 year from the date of award.

The RFQ will be issued to the PSC Task Order Holders on or about May 25, 2010.

The RFQ closing date is June 14, 2010.
