The agency intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested parties must submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of the notice publication date, with commercial item providers having only 15 days to identify their capability. The government will consider all responses received within the specified timeframe solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, though the final decision remains at the government's discretion. Military and federal specifications, standards, and other relevant documents are available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) and ASSIST-Online systems, with delivery terms specified as FOB origin.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and operates under standard competitive procedures despite the single-source intent. The contract calls for exactly 45 display units with delivery FOB origin, though no specific dollar values or budget ranges are disclosed in the notice. The solicitation deadline is June 11, 2025, providing interested vendors approximately four months from the initial posting to prepare and submit their responses. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, and the government has indicated it will not be using FAR Part 12 commercial item acquisition policies for this procurement. The opportunity falls under PSC category 7E20 for IT and telecommunications end-user equipment, specifically covering help desk, workspace, print, output, and productivity tools.
