About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center Austin is seeking a contractor to provide 24/7 streaming of WiFi services, maintenance, and repairs for the Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center and associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Ohio. The firm fixed-price contract has a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. Key requirements include providing a minimum of 3 Mbps of synchronous internet connectivity, implementing security controls and content filtering, and operating a toll-free customer support line. The government estimates 750-1,000 users per day at the main facility and 150 users per CBOC. Proposals are due by August 25, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror with the lowest price quote.
This is an unrestricted solicitation with no set-aside designations. The government currently uses Spectrum as the internet service provider and owns Aruba networking equipment at the facilities, which the contractor may utilize or provide new equipment as required. The estimated value of the contract is not specified, but the government plans to award the contract in August 2024 with the contractor required to have the system fully functional within 120 days.
