Once optimal treatment modalities have been identified via the VA/DOD CPG, the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) is tasked to organize the development of strategies to support VA/DOD CPG implementation. Implementation products are accomplished via Toolkits. Toolkits include affliction-specific tools to disseminate information to Army medical provider staff as well as educational products for patients and families of the patients. Facilitation of meetings is required to determine and develop the content of the Toolkits. The contractual support for Toolkits begins at the completion of the VA/DOD CPG process until the completion of each VA/DOD CPG Toolkit. The Toolkit Development Conferences are follow-on requirements to the development of the VA/DOD CPGs.
