Notice text
THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Centers Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division of Reproductive Health contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to March of Dimes Foundation (White Plains, NY). The work shall be performed at the Contractor's facility. The Period of Performance shall be for 12 months. The North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) Code is 813212 and Standard Business Size of $25.5M.
The sole source award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
The objective of this procurement is to develop a Prematurity Prevention Network (PPN) from expert panel presentations, participants, and other partners of the Permaturity Prevention Symposium. The Prematurity Prevention Network advances and promulgates knowledge in prematurity prevention for improvements in women's and infants' health care and creates a coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting prematurity prevention. The Network will provide a national platform in which lessons learned from regional and statewide collaboratives are shared. It will also review and promote prematurity prevention efforts at both the provider and hospital levels and showcase community-based intervention programs.
No other vendors possess the proprietary brand name integrity of the March of Dimes as a leader in prematurity prevention and no other vendor has access to the information that is proprietary to the March of Dimes to establish a National Prematurity Prevention Network and host a National Prematurity Prevention Symposium that brought together academia, government, private foundations and community groups that focused on prematurity prevention.
CDC is not requesting competitive proposals and no solicitation is available.
