About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory, is seeking proposals for the development and evaluation of a train-the-trainer program to support equitable and effective respiratory protective device use. The contractor will develop guidance and fit testing programs for workers without respiratory protection programs and the public. The period of performance is five years under a full and open, firm fixed price contract. Interested parties must respond by July 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM EST. Questions are due by June 23, 2023.

There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The place of performance is within the United States. The contractor must be experienced in public health with existing partnerships and a respiratory protection program already implemented. Subcontracting to local public health departments is permitted. The selected contractor will deploy the respiratory protection program and fit test training across public health partnerships nationwide over the five-year period of performance.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) has a requirement for Development and Evaluation of a Train-the-Trainer Program to Support Equitable and Effective Respiratory Protective Device Use.

This procurement will be solicited as a Full and Open, Firm Fixed Price. This procurement will be competed IAW FAR Part 15, Contract by Negotiation. The period of performance will be 5 years.

Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring sam.gov regularly for any amendments or changes to this solicitation.

This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. This notice and solicitation are being posted in accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation, possible amendments, and other procurement-related matters. Requests for the solicitation in hard copy form are not available. No phone calls will be accepted. No facsimile transmissions will be accepted.
