SITE VISIT. Instead of an on-site visit, a teleconference call is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 9:30am Pacific Time (PT) for all interested parties. Questions/Answers will be shared on the call which will be noted. The conference call-in number is 866-618-4218. The passcode is 627112. The call will begin at exactly the scheduled time and is scheduled to end at 10:45am (PT). For the NPS, attending will be the Contracting Officer (Phaedra Fuller) and COR (Jeff Doryland). The time allotted is one hour and fifteen minutes. Within three business days of the teleconference call this solicitation will be amended to include the teleconference call notes/Q&A for all parties to access that will be posted as an attachment to the solicitation in FedConnect (will be Attachment no. 12). The reason for scheduling a teleconference call vs. making a site visit at this time is because the Hoh Apartment Building is currently occupied as park housing and much of the building is not accessible for contractors. The Government anticipated that given the attached drawings and statement of work that Offerors would have sufficient information to prepare quotes without a physical site visit. However, based on the feedback received during the teleconference call, should an actual site visit need to occur, it will be scheduled prior to the response date via an amendment to the solicitation and the details of date, time, and location of where to meet will be provided in the amendment, and the response date may be extended. If a site visit is to occur the anticipated date would be August 12th or 13th, or 17th or 18th. This teleconference call information is also provided in solicitation Attachment no. 2 (Terms and Conditions) in Section L.3.
PROJECT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE is 106 calendar days, from September 15, 2015 to December 29, 2015. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM ROUGH-IN WORK FROM OCTOBER 19-30, 2015. This two-week period will NOT be negotiable prior to or after award. Contractor MUST perform the rough-in work during this time frame, as a requirement of the awarded contract. Work hours will not be restricted during the two-week period of October 19th - 30th. The contractor shall be mobilized on-site and ready to begin rough-in work on October 19th and have that portion of the work completed, ready for inspection no later than October 30, 2015. Refer to Section F.2 of Attachment no. 2, for full details about the period of performance as there is more information included than is posted here in this synopsis page.
It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date.
All questions must be submitted in writing by fax or email (no phone or fax questions). Submit questions to Phaedra Fuller, Contracting Officer at email address Phaedra_Fuller@nps.gov. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments.
The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation.
