About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of Commerce Office of the Secretary, through its Office of Acquisition Management and Shared Services Procurement Office (SSPO), issued this Special Notice on March 9, 2026, to provide an informational update regarding a change in acquisition strategy. The notice concerns the Operational and Program Support (OPS) requirement that was previously announced under RFI-11242024 on SAM.gov. The Government has determined that it will no longer pursue this requirement through an open market procurement process. Instead, the acquisition has been restructured to compete exclusively among eligible contractors already holding positions on the GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This represents a significant modification to the original sourcing approach and is intended to streamline the procurement process through an existing contract vehicle.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the market that the OPS requirement will now be executed through GSA OASIS+ ordering procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505. Phase I eligibility confirmation has already been issued to eligible OASIS+ contract holders within the applicable domain through the OASIS+ ordering platform, with a particular focus on Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The Government explicitly states that it is not soliciting responses, capability statements, or questions regarding this update and has provided this notice for informational purposes only. Contractors seeking to compete for this requirement must currently hold an active OASIS+ contract award and meet the eligibility criteria established for participation in Phase I of this competition. The due date for this notice is March 12, 2026, though responses are not being requested from the general contracting community.
