About this opportunity
Veterans Integrated Service Network 7 (Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration) intends to solicit dental laboratory services for the Charleston VA Medical Center and is conducting market research with a source information sheet due June 4, 2026. No set-aside is anticipated.
Work is performed at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center North Charleston Outpatient Clinic in Charleston, South Carolina. The contractor shall provide comprehensive dental lab services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with holiday coverage, including twice-daily pickups (morning and afternoon) and same-day turnaround for applicable services. Required services encompass same-day prosthetic relines, repairs, and replacements; same-day acrylic partials and temporary treatment partials; and digital dentistry services including crowns, bridgework, surgical templates, implant-supported prostheses, and radiographic guides. Specific materials must be used, including Lucitone 199 high impact acrylic resin, Dental Diamond D Acrylic, and Injectable Ivoclar. Standard turnaround times range from 24 hours for repairs and adjustments to four weeks for complex bridgework. Routine service delivery operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. local time.
The contract will have a base year period plus four optional one-year extension periods exercisable at the Government's discretion. Contractor personnel must be licensed dental professionals subject to approval by the VAMC Chief of Staff and Director. A Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan will monitor contractor performance against established standards. Failure to meet performance measures within 30 days will result in a 25 percent reduction of the next monthly payment.
