About this opportunity

Air Combat Command is requesting sources to provide demolition services at two Shaw Air Force Base locations in South Carolina, with a sources-sought deadline of June 15, 2026; this procurement carries a Total Small Business set-aside.

The demolition scope spans the Olanta Site (base bid) and Kingstree Site (optional), each requiring structural demolition, fence and underground electrical removal, earthwork, and site restoration within a 60-calendar-day performance period from Notice to Proceed. Olanta work includes demolition of two lightning towers and associated concrete footings, removal of 600 linear feet of chain-link fence and 3,200 linear feet of barbed wire fence, demolition of 350 linear feet of underground electrical service, removal of 570 cubic yards of aggregate base with placement of 570 cubic yards of topsoil, and hydroseeding of 3,500 square yards. Kingstree scope is substantially similar but scaled down: 2,100 linear feet of barred wire fence removal, 200 cubic yards of topsoil placement, and hydroseeding of 1,200 square yards; existing gravel at Kingstree must remain in place and be maintained in good condition.

The contractor must obtain all required permits, coordinate utility outages with the Civil Engineering Squadron, comply with UFC, SCDHEC, NEC, NESC, and NFPA standards, and furnish all work drawings certified by a South Carolina-licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. Contractor responsibilities include labor, supervision, materials, equipment, debris disposal, daily RAKEN-format reports with photographs and dump receipts by 0800 the following day, DD1354 forms beginning at 50% completion, and a minimum one-year warranty against defects. All debris must be enclosed during transport, housed in covered dumpsters, and disposed at authorized landfills with no on-site burning.
