The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center has issued a Special Notice for DED Machine Spare Parts, targeting a single-source procurement from TRUMPF, Inc. located in Plymouth Township, Michigan. The notice pertains to acquiring specific spare parts for the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) through a Firm Fixed Price contract. The procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), which allows for simplified acquisition procedures. The procurement falls under NAICS code 332510 with a size standard of 600 employees, and the total estimated contract value is $98,429.20 for specific nozzle and spacer parts for a TF33 7th Stage Spacer pedestal and knife edge.
Contractors interested in this opportunity must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and obtain an active CAGE Code prior to contract award. Electronic submission procedures will be used, with all solicitation materials accessible through SAM.gov, and no telephone requests will be accepted. The Air Force has conducted comprehensive market research using Dynamic Small Business Search and SAM databases, reviewing potential small businesses, HUBZone, GSA, and Veteran-Owned Business sources. However, TRUMPF, Inc. has been identified as the sole original equipment manufacturer (OEM) capable of providing these specific DED Machine spare parts. The solicitation is open from March 28, 2025, to April 11, 2025, during which interested contractors may submit quotes and capability information. The government will continue monitoring the market to potentially identify alternative sources for future procurements and reduce single-source acquisitions.
