About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) through its Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has issued a Special Notice regarding cyber security services support for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). This notice announces DISA's intent to modify an existing contract (47QTCA8D0002A/Task Order HC1047-23-F-4060) with Crest Security Assurance, LLC to increase the level of effort for cyber security services. The contract modification will be processed as a sole source action under the limiting sources authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C). The requiring activity is DCMA, located at Fort Lee, Virginia, while DISA/DITCO at Fort Meade, Maryland serves as the contracting organization. The services fall under the NAICS code 541519 for Other Computer Related Services and PSC code DA10 for IT and Telecom Business Application/Application Development Software as a Service.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the contracting community that the government intends to negotiate with only one source rather than conduct a competitive procurement for these cyber security services. Contractors have until August 24, 2025, to respond, though this is not a request for competitive proposals. Any requests for copies of the solicitation will only be honored if respondents can provide evidence demonstrating their capability to perform the required cyber security services. The government plans to support its decision not to compete this contract action with an approved Limited Source Justification and Approval (J&A) that will be posted at a later date. Interested parties with questions may contact Contract Specialist Ahsan H. Mohammad or Contracting Officer Melissa L. Sterling via the provided email addresses.
