About this opportunity
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W) at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing DaVinci Robotic Disposable Items for the Department at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) under the Department of the Army Medical Command. However, there appears to be a discrepancy in the notice, as the title references DaVinci Robotic Disposable Items while the requirements describe two In-vivo Dosimetry systems for radiation therapy applications. The systems must measure dose in real time for both stationary and rotational radiotherapy modalities, handle low to high energy ranges for photons and electrons, and provide automatic patient temperature correction and leakage compensation. Key technical requirements include the ability to measure multiple high photon dose points simultaneously, direct data export to Varian's ARIA Oncology Information System, wall-mountable design with no floor cables, and software capabilities for record and verify interface with automatic correction factor tools. Interested parties must respond by July 25, 2025, to Ivette.Y.Jefferson.civ@health.mil with organizational information, CAGE code, UEI, and confirmation of their ability to meet the requirements, though pricing information should not be included.
This sources sought notice does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No current incumbents or contractors are identified in the notice. The government has not provided any budget ranges or award values, as this is strictly a market research effort with no existing Request for Quote (RFQ). The requirement specifies a quantity of two In-vivo Dosimetry systems, though no timeline for delivery or contract performance period is mentioned. All responses will be used solely for information and planning purposes, with the government emphasizing that this notice does not constitute a commitment and that respondents are responsible for all costs associated with their submissions.
