About this opportunity

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is seeking to procure an eight-user account data service on commercial health insurance claims in the United States. The data service must cover claims data from 2019-2023, representing at least 20 million lives annually across all 50 states. The vendor must provide access to the data through an online platform, allow for data exports compatible with SAS and Stata, and offer technical and analytic support. GAO will evaluate proposals on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis and award to the vendor who currently has a GSA contract for the required services and offers the lowest compliant price. Proposals are due by May 16, 2024.

This solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category. The Government does not anticipate any changes to the data user accounts during the study. The period of performance is for one year, and the place of performance is Washington, DC 20548. GAO has indicated they do not require the data to identify specific providers or payers, and the vendor is not required to have FedRAMP authorization.
