About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force is seeking to award a modification to the existing Space C2 Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) Platform Contract FA8806-23-C-0001 to add a Space Joint Targeting Capability known as "Ion Trail." This capability is critical to enabling protection of the United States and its allies against emerging threats. The agency plans to accomplish a class justification and approval to acquire this requirement, which will support USSPACECOM and United States Space Force missions by providing enhanced battlespace awareness and operational command and control. The DaaS platform provides data ingestion, integration, storage, and access to data feeds from disparate sources, allowing government users and leaders to make data-driven decisions. This modification will be awarded to the current contractor, Palantir USG, Inc., and will not be subject to a set-aside. The proposed solicitation number is FA8806-23-C-0001, P00018, with a closing response date of December 5, 2024 and a contract award date no later than December 15, 2024. The contract award value is to be determined.
