About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is conducting a Request for Information for pharmacy staff scheduling software access and support services, with responses due May 8, 2026. The procurement will be released as unrestricted full and open competition under NAICS 541519, following Amendment Three which reversed an earlier SDVOSB set-aside strategy announced in Amendment Two.

The software platform will support staff scheduling and competency assessment for 125 pharmacy users at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Performance is one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, not to exceed 60 months total, with services performed remotely and administratively located at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 platform availability, unlimited technical support during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST), emergency-only support outside those hours, onboarding and refresher training for administrators, a dedicated account manager, monthly progress reports, and a 24/7 online help center.

The PWS requires extensive VA cybersecurity and privacy compliance, including VA Enterprise Architecture compliance, zero trust security controls, IPv6 support, federal identity and credential management protocols, and adherence to federal accessibility guidelines. Responses are limited to seven pages; generic capability statements and marketing materials are not accepted. All responsible sources may respond. Monitor SAM.gov for the forthcoming RFQ. Point of contact: Contract Specialist Justin Daniel, 706-833-7261, Justin.Daniel@va.gov.
