About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is seeking renewal of software maintenance and support services for Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC's Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) software currently installed on the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center's Telemetry system. The contract will provide 24/7 telephone support, remote diagnostics, safety updates, annual performance enhancements, and cybersecurity patches for the telemetry monitoring equipment. This is a sole source procurement directly with Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC, based on market research findings that only Spacelabs can provide the required software maintenance due to the proprietary nature of its technology and source code. The evaluation will be conducted in accordance with the basis for award criteria outlined in the combined synopsis/solicitation document. The original proposal submission deadline was January 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST; however, Amendment 0001 has extended the deadline to January 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.

This procurement includes no small business set-asides. The incumbent contractor is Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC, which will be awarded this sole source contract. The estimated contract value is $34.0 million under NAICS code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) and PSC code DA10 (IT and Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Software as a Service). The contract covers maintenance for 353 software licenses total, comprising 305 hardwire telemetry monitors and 48 mobile telemetry units. The Period of Performance consists of a 12-month base period from the date of award with four optional 12-month extension periods, with performance taking place at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The contracting officer is Michael Weckesser, and the contract specialist point of contact is Kelly Reale.
