About this opportunity
This Special Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs announces their intent to award a sole source blanket purchase agreement to Philips North America, LLC. The notice is for continued critical care hardware and software support services currently provided by Philips.
The Special Notice does not request quotations as awarding the five-year BPA to the sole source provider Philips is considered to be the only option able to meet the agency's requirements. As the Philips software and hardware are proprietary, no other suppliers or services are deemed able to satisfy the needs of the VA for maintaining functionality and operations of their critical care systems. The BPA will allow for continued services such as software updates and upgrades, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, technical support, database administration support, and training from the sole source provider Philips North America, LLC.
