About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with Knowledge Factor, Inc. for the Amplifire adaptive e-learning software platform. The VA Board of Appeals Professional Development Division (PDD) requires the Amplifire software to provide online training and education for new attorneys and other staff. The contract will include online learner and author training licenses, course development, and technical support services. The VA has determined that Amplifire is the only product that meets the technical requirements for an adaptive learning platform to support the VA's training and education needs.
This is a total small business set-aside opportunity. The anticipated NAICS code is 513210 (Software Publishers), and the Product Service Code is DA01 (IT and Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Support Services). The total estimated value of the contract, including the 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods, is undisclosed. The VA plans to award a sole-source contract to Knowledge Factor, Inc., the incumbent contractor, and will not issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
