The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma City is seeking quotations for 3 units of a Cylinder Assembly, specifically a Tandem Aileron Booster Actuator with National Stock Number 1650-00-257-7934 and manufacturer part number 5C5791. This procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) and requires new manufacture items composed of aluminum, steel, and rubber materials. The solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0046 was issued on October 10, 2025, with quotations due by November 10, 2025. The requirement includes compliance with various federal contracting provisions focused on safeguarding defense information, telecommunications equipment restrictions, and supply chain security measures. The item requires Unique Item Identification (IUID) marking and is part of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case.
This procurement does not include any small business set-aside designation and operates under the simplified acquisition threshold, which is why the government has waived the synopsis requirement. The solicitation establishes a size standard of 1,250 employees for qualifying contractors under the applicable NAICS code. The required delivery date for the cylinder assemblies is July 26, 2029, providing contractors with nearly four years to fulfill the manufacturing and delivery requirements. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the available documentation, the procurement falls within the simplified acquisition threshold limits. The solicitation permits electronic responses through the Government Point of Entry system, allowing offerors to submit their quotations via email and access the complete solicitation package electronically.
