About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command is seeking to procure debris blower equipment through RFQ FA441825Q0038, specifically requesting quotations for Cyclone Squared Debris Blowers (Model BT-CKB4SQ or equivalent) for inspection of Air Receivers. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit completed RFQ Fill-in Sheets to demonstrate technical capability. The government will evaluate proposals using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) methodology, first ranking quotations by total price and then assessing the lowest-priced offer for technical acceptability against the specified requirements. Electronic submissions are due no later than June 30, 2025, at 1500 EST to jalen.williams.8@us.af.mil and sherina.sartin@us.af.mil, with quotes required to remain valid for 45 days following the closing date.

This acquisition is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 333111 (Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The solicitation documents indicate quantities ranging from one to two debris blowers depending on the specific attachment referenced, with the equipment weighing approximately 800 pounds and featuring robust specifications including aerospace polymer nozzles and dual nozzle control systems. The contract will be structured as a Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order, though specific award values are not disclosed in the solicitation materials. Performance will take place at Joint Base Charleston, North Charleston, South Carolina, and the government intends to award the contract without negotiations, though it reserves the right to conduct interchanges with offerors if necessary.
