Added: Apr 11, 2014 7:47 am The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Northeastern Ohio. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to resurface the trail systems at the Environmental Education Center located at 3675 Oak Hill Road, Peninsula, OH 44264. A detailed Statement of Work and specification with drawings will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P14PS00711. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by August 2014. Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages for Summit County, Ohio will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price, with Technical Sub factors: Experience and Project Management to include compliance with EPA guidelines for conservation and waste management. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237310, and the size standard is $33.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available late April/early May 2014 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
