About this opportunity

U.S. Customs and Border Protection seeks a controlled UAS platform, with proposals due October 21 at 5 p.m. Eastern. This procurement is an SDVOSB set-aside, limiting competition to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.

Due to the sensitive law enforcement operational nature of the requirement, the full solicitation package, Statement of Work, and technical attachments will not be posted publicly on SAM.gov. Only eligible SDVOSB vendors may request access by contacting Contracting Officer Shaun G. Saad at shaungalen.saad@cbp.dhs.gov. Access requires active SAM.gov registration, confirmed SDVOSB certification, demonstrated apparent capability in UAS platform, integration, testing, training, and support; execution of DHS Form 11000-6 Non-Disclosure Agreement dated 08/18 with Other Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) designation; and agreement to limit access to personnel with need-to-know and not to reproduce or disseminate materials without written Contracting Officer approval. Access requests must include company legal name, UEI, CAGE code, SAM.gov registration confirmation, SDVOSB certification status, company point of contact details, and a brief capability statement. Submission of an access request does not guarantee solicitation access; CBP will review and determine eligibility for controlled document release.
