The National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) ) for services to implement a study protocol designed to measure the extent to which scores on a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) tool are associated with reports of fear and violence related behaviors on school property.

The solicitation number for this procurement is 2009-N-11275. The NAICS code for this RFP is 541720. The resultant award is expected to be a cost plus award fee contract with a period of performance for thirty six (36) months. This requirement is being procured as a competitive total small business set aside. Only small businesses under NAICS code 541720 are eligible to compete for this acquisition.


The RFP is anticipated for release on or about 30 July 2009. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All responsible sources may submit proposals which shall be considered by the agency. No bidder's list will be maintained. Notification will not be sent to offerors regarding issuance of the solicitation nor any of its amendments. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor FedBizOps for release of the acquisition and any amendments.
