About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate with Lockheed Martin for upgrades to the AN/ALQ-507 Operational Flight program software and Canadian Standard Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Reference Format Parser to support the AN/ALQ-507 and AN/ALQ-230 Electronic Support Measure systems. As the original designer and manufacturer of the aircraft and systems, Lockheed Martin is considered the only responsible source with the necessary expertise. The agency will consider responses within 15 days to determine whether to open competition, but a non-competitive award is anticipated given Lockheed Martin's status as the original equipment manufacturer.

There is no set-aside designated for this potential award. As the incumbent, Lockheed Martin is identified as having the experience required as the original designer located in Orlando, Florida. As the notice is a pre-solicitation, no target value or budget range is included. The NAICS code is 336411 for aircraft manufacturing and the PSC code covers aircraft maintenance and repair services.
