About this opportunity
ACC Warren is requesting information on corrective maintenance of five industrial shot blast machines at Anniston Army Depot, with an estimated period of performance from March 2027 through March 2028; responses are due by September 29, 2026. This is a Request for Information only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to contract.
Work is performed at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. The requirement covers three 96-inch double-door blast tables and two Tumble Blast Machine Super 7 units located in Building 409. The Statement of Work specifies replacement of legacy blast wheels with BCT TwistLOK e-Wheel technology featuring threadless retention systems, investment-cast super-alloy tool steel components providing 2–3 times the wear life of traditional alloys, and 3D molded urethane lid seals. The three blast tables each require two M3A TwistLOK e-Wheels with 30HP motors, two MACV abrasive control valve assemblies, new hopper bottom plates, inspection covers, and 20 feet of 3-inch ID blast hose. The two tumble machines each require one M1 TwistLOK e-Wheel with 20HP motor, mill rubber belt replacement, and six 4-bolt flange shaft bearings and two barrelhead bearing assemblies. One blast table includes a spare parts package with one 30HP motor, one spare M3A e-Wheel assembly, and one tune-up kit; the two tumble machines include spare 20HP motors and M1 tune-up kits. The contractor must provide complete turnkey mechanical installation services through a qualified field service certified team deployed to the site.
ACC Warren seeks capability statements with past performance examples, recommended contracting strategies, and detailed input on hardware and software pricing accuracy, transition planning requirements, and definitional gaps in the draft Statement of Work.
