About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice is seeking access to airworthy suction apparatus (aspirators) to support contingency operations for the Military Services. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical intends to award an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under the Medical Equipment Corporate Exigency Contract for the group of Patient Movement Items Program. To be considered for award, offerors must propose an item that has been aeromedically certified by all Military Services at the time the solicitation closes. This contract aims to establish long-term partnerships with manufacturers to provide sustainment material during contingencies rather than purchasing and storing items.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. Offerors must only meet the qualification that their proposed aspirator item has received aeromedical certification. As this is a pre-solicitation notice, specific NAICS/PSC codes, incumbent contractors, award values, or quantities were not provided but will be included in the subsequent solicitation. The contract intends to provide access to aspirators to support an undefined volume of contingency operations for an indefinite period of time.

Update #1 ·
Concept: The Medical Equipment Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) for the group of Patient Movement Items (PMI) Program is designed to provide sustainment material to meet the Military Services' requirements in times of contingency operations. Contingency operations include providing logistical support to military operations, humanitarian, and emergency or urgent relief efforts performed under the authority of the military. CEC awards establish long term partnerships with manufacturers to provide this sustainment support.
The intent is to buy access to material by partnering with industry verses purchasing material and storing in Government warehouses.
We are buying ACCESS to airworthy Suction Apparatus (Aspirators).
In order to be considered for award, your proposed item must be aeromedically certified by all services at time of solicitation closing.
