About this opportunity

This notice seeks a contractor to coordinate the continuation of follow-up of cohorts exposed to diethylstilbestrol (DES). The National Cancer Institute, under the Department of Health and Human Services, aims to monitor cancer incidence and mortality among DES-exposed individuals and coordinate collection of blood samples from cohort members. The selected contractor must monitor health outcomes, support data collection, and liaise between field sites and NCI. Evaluation will consider a contractor's ability to perform coordination, data processing, monitoring and reporting tasks over a base year with four option years.

There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The primary NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code R425. The incumbent contractor is completing a phase-out period in advance of the full and open competition solicitation anticipated for release on November 23, 2020 via SAM.gov. The single-award, cost-reimbursement contract may include a level of effort component and is estimated to involve coordinating follow-up of several thousand DES-exposed individuals across multiple field sites over the five-year period.
