This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR Part 10 and seeks vendors capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required for new manufacture, including component procurement, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, procurement of long-lead time parts, addressing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and nonrecurring engineering costs associated with source approval. The Government is interested in all business types, including large businesses, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a) certified firms, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone businesses, and women-owned small businesses. Interested vendors must complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package and submit responses by May 6, 2026 to 421scms.requirements.workflow@us.af.mil, with an estimated delivery date of December 31, 2026.

This Pre-solicitation Notice carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any current incumbent contractors. No award value or budget range is specified in this market research notice, and no specific quantity requirements are disclosed at this stage. The applicable NAICS code is 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,500 employees, and the PSC category is 2995 (Miscellaneous Engine Accessories, Aircraft). This is not a binding commitment, and no funds are currently available; the purpose is solely to identify capable sources for potential future procurement.
