About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair or modification services for Control Module SLAV components under electrical control equipment procurement. The contract calls for the repair/modification of four units identified by NSN 7H-6110-997009491 (TDP VER 001) with delivery on a free-on-board origin basis. This is a non-competitive procurement action being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as the Government does not own the data or rights necessary to source this part from multiple vendors and has determined it uneconomical to acquire such data or reverse engineer the component. While this notice indicates the Government's intent to negotiate with a single source, all responsible sources are invited to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to demonstrate their interest and capability to perform the work. The deadline for submission of proposals and capability statements is December 7, 2025, which represents a 45-day window from the notice publication date for consideration by the Government.

This procurement carries no set-aside designations and includes no identified incumbent contractor or current contractor information in the notice. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the pre-solicitation announcement. The requirement consists of a total quantity of four units requiring repair or modification services with delivery expected at the Government's designated origin point. The Government retains sole discretion to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received, and all information submitted will typically be evaluated only to assess whether competitive solicitation is warranted. Interested contractors should note that proposals received within the 45-day window will be considered, and those responding under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement may operate under a compressed 30-day consideration period.
