Awards were made to Alliance Building Group, Alutiiq Manufacturing Contractors, LLC, Chavis Incorporated, Contract & Purchasing Solutions, Incorporated, Diversified Mechanical, Limited, FutureNet Group, Incorporated, and OTAK Group, Incorporated. The Estimated Program Value is $75 million with a Maximum Program Ceiling of $100 million. The MATOC consists of a Five Year Ordering Period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2016. Chavis Incorporated was awarded the MATOC Seed Project (Task Order W91247-11-D-0020-0001) in the amount of $337,029.00.

Added: Mar 04, 2011 5:21 pm Modified: Apr 16, 2011 11:46 pmTrack Changes The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center-Fort Bragg, North Carolina, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to execute a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects at Fort Bragg, Camp Mackall, Simmons, and Pope Fields, North Carolina. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction. This acquisition is restricted to HUBZone, 8(a) certified, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The assigned NAICS Code is 236220, "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction" with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. The MATOC is to be based on a general Statement of Work (SOW) further defined in individual Task Orders. The number of contracts that may be awarded under the MATOC shall not exceed six (6).

The anticipated projects for this requirement will include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, demolition, roadwork, storm drainage, earthwork, welding, and other general construction. Projects awarded utilizing the MATOC will possibly stem from completed designs, partial designs, or as specified and will be accompanied by a SOW. DPW projects may also include some design-build projects. All anticipated projects demand high standards of quality and performance. All work performed shall be in accordance with the industrial and commercial codes/standards. The capabilities required for this acquisition will be of the following general project categories: (1) Construction, repair and alteration of various facilities, (2) Minor construction and real property maintenance, remodel, and repair to include but not limited to the following: Foundation and Site Work, Concrete Construction, Masonry Construction, Metals, Carpentry, Thermal/Moisture Protection, Earthwork, Curtain walls, doors, windows, glass, Finished Materials, Fencing Communications, Elevators/Conveying Systems, Mechanical/ Electrical, Demolition and Removal, Roads/ Paving, and Painting. The period of performance for this requirement will consist of a five (5) year ordering period for a total of a sixty (60) month ordering period.

MICC Center - Fort Bragg anticipates issuing RFP W91247-11-R-0004 on or about 18 April 2011. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. The RFP will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Questions in regard to the RFP must be submitted via fax ATTN: Mrs. Anna Walker at (910) 396-8346 and may be submitted anonymously. Due to an overwhelming response to the MATOC SEED project, Site Visits have been scheduled for 13 and 14th April 2011. Please note that if your firm did not submit a Company confirmation by 9 April 2011, your firm will not be able to attend the site visit, as all scheduled times are now full. All firms that submitted confirmations should have already received their scheduled Site Visit dates and times. The Government anticipates holding an Industry Day on March 15, 2011 beginning at 1:00 PM EDT at the Main Post Theater, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. All interested firms may attend with a limit of two (2) attendees per firm. Please confirm participation in the Industry Day/Conference and submit on company letterhead full name and job title of the attendees to Mrs. Anna M. Walker at anna.walker@us.army.mil or fax to (910) 396-5603 no later than March 11, 2011, 2:00 PM EST. Attendees should submit all questions regarding the Draft RFP via e-mail to the attention of Mrs. Anna M. Walker at anna.walker@us.army.mil. The Industry Day will be held to ensure that potential offerors fully understand the Government's requirement. The Government intends to offer a briefing session from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT to discuss the DRAFT RFP and a general question/answer session from 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM EDT.
