About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential suppliers of various construction aggregates within Oceania. The agency is seeking suppliers capable of providing sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag, recycled concrete, and decorative aggregates in various packaging formats including super sacks and loose aggregate. Specific products of interest include sand super sacks, stone super sacks, flowable-fill super sacks, and rapid setting cement super sacks (BUZZI TYPE III or equivalent). The aggregates must be available in specified sizes including 3/8 inch clean crushed stone, 1/2 inch crushed aggregate, 3/4 inch crushed aggregate, and 1 1/2 inch crushed aggregate, with multiple transportation methods required including land delivery, air delivery, intermodal delivery, and expedited delivery options. Companies interested in responding to this market survey have until August 13, 2025 to submit their information, though this notice does not constitute a formal solicitation or guarantee of contract award.

This Sources Sought Notice does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified suppliers. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, as the agency appears to be conducting initial market research to establish supplier capabilities in the Oceania region. The notice does not specify award values, budget ranges, or quantities of materials needed, as this is purely an informational market survey rather than a formal procurement action. The agency has indicated that there are currently no active National Stock Numbers for these items because they are considered generic materials, suggesting this may be a new or expanded procurement requirement. Two government files are attached to support the market survey: a Construction Aggregate SSN Market Survey Excel file and a Construction Aggregate Sources Sought Notice Word document that likely contain additional details and response requirements.
