About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Albuquerque published a Special Notice regarding the consolidation of environmental compliance contract requirements at Cannon Air Force Base, Holloman Air Force Base, and Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. The opportunity number is W912PP24R0002.
The Special Notice seeks to consolidate requirements previously met by two separate contracts into a single firm-fixed-price contract valued at $41 million over five years. This consolidation aims to achieve substantial procurement cost savings estimated at 50% through economies of scale as well as efficiencies in contract management and oversight. Interested contractors must submit a response by December 4, 2023 to be eligible for consideration for award. The competitive set-aside procurement will allow for maximum small business participation in providing fence-to-fence environmental services at the three Air Force bases, including hazardous waste management, air quality compliance, wastewater management and cultural resources support.
Notice text
Environmental compliance at these installations is currently supported by means of two separate contracts: one small business contract for KAFB, and one 8(a) small business for CAFB and HAFB. The New Mexico Group Fence to Fence Environmental Compliance project is more than double the scope and level of effort of either existing contract. The New Mexico Group Fence to Fence Environmental Compliance project for CAFB, HAFB, and KAFB is not considered a follow-on contract.
