About this opportunity
This Special Notice from the United States Marine Corps seeks a nine-month sole source bridge contract with Cherokee Nation Management and Consulting, L.L.C. to continue providing logistics services in support of the Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program. The justification and approval document attached to the notice seeks to ensure continued provision of mission critical logistics services to manage, support, and operate the Marine Corps CSP worldwide network of over 57 Government-owned, Contractor-operated facilities at approximately 21 geographic locations.
The objective is to allow for continuity of operations without unacceptable delays in fulfilling requirements while the follow-on competitive procurement is completed. The bridge contract would extend from January 2024 to September 2024 to allow time for the follow-on source selection process to be finished. As the incumbent currently performing the highly specialized logistics services since January 2021, only Cherokee Nation Management can ensure continuation of total asset visibility and equipment readiness support for Marine Corps units globally across the 57 facilities without a break in operations. No other eligibility criteria or opportunities are described in the Special Notice or attached justification.
