About this opportunity
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking to procure 30 Big & Tall ergonomic office chairs through a Request for Quote (RFQ) 70B03C25Q00000040. The chairs must be capable of supporting up to 400 pounds, feature silver-colored arms, and have black leather upholstery, with the U.S. Border Patrol logo embroidered on the headrest. Contractors must submit three separate documents by December 16, 2024, at 3 PM MST: a pricing quote in Excel format, a signed SF 1449, and a product description sheet. The government will evaluate quotations on a best value basis, considering product description and past performance as more important factors than price. CBP intends to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order without discussions, though they reserve the right to conduct negotiations if deemed necessary.
This solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 337214, with a size standard of 1,100 employees. The chairs will be delivered to USBP Headquarters in Washington, DC, with delivery, assembly, and setup included in the single price per chair. The period of performance is 90 days after award, with a required delivery date of February 1, 2025. While no specific budget or award value was disclosed, the procurement covers 30 chairs with comprehensive delivery and installation services. The contract requires the successful vendor to provide chairs that meet specific ergonomic and aesthetic requirements, including the ability to accommodate larger individuals and display the official U.S. Border Patrol logo.
