Added: Feb 28, 2012 12:54 pm The Mission and Installation Command Contracting Office (MICC), For Drum, NY is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Concrete Requirements. The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all operation all operations in connection with the construction of new and/or replacement of existing concrete structures such as sidewalks, stairs, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ramps, road sections, and other various concrete structures; here at Fort Drum in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings. Principal features include, but are not limited to, excavation, removal, disposal and replacement of concrete slab, excavation, removal and disposal of earth, surface materials and concrete, repair of damaged areas, cracks and joints. Some tasks may be performed in cold weather conditions.

The contract type shall be a Requirements Construction Contract with Firm Fixed Price Unit Prices (per Far Subpart 16.503-Requirements Contract) with Options (per FAR Subpart 17.2 Options) with a three-year(base year and two one year option periods) value estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a standard size of $33,500,000. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB No. W911S2-12-B-8001 in the subject line.

The anticipated issue posting date of the IFB is sooner than 15 Days after publication of this notice. The due date for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/afsi. All responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns may submit a bid, which shall be considered. The IFB and any subsequent amendments shall only be available electronically by accessing AFSI at https://acquisition.army.mil/afsi. No hard copies shall be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor AFSI website for any/all amendments to the solicitation. No electronic bids shall be accepted. The IFB must be submitted in hard copy form to the Mission and Installation Command Contracting Office, Fort Drum NY.
