About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair and modification services for computer flight control equipment under NSN 7R-6615-015221457-QE. This procurement involves the repair of 47 units of automatic pilot mechanisms and airborne gyro components, with contractors required to provide repair turnaround time (RTAT) services within 111 days after receipt of each asset. The repair turnaround time is measured from the physical receipt of F-condition assets at the contractor's facility through final government inspection and acceptance. Contractors must accurately report all transactions in the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system within five business days of receipt and provide a monthly throughput constraint indicating their repair capacity. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on May 6, 2025, with responses due by September 11, 2025.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to full and open competition. The contract requires delivery FOB origin with early and incremental deliveries accepted and preferred by the government. Contractors have a 365-day induction expiration period after contract award, meaning any assets received beyond this timeframe require bilateral agreement with the NAVSUP WSS Contracting Officer for authorized repair. The solicitation specifies that contractors must define their monthly throughput capacity, with zero indicating no throughput constraints. The government considers all contractual documents issued when deposited in mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent through electronic commerce methods such as email.
