The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm Fixed Price Five-Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 204 each up to a maximum quantity of 650 each of COMPUTER FLIGHT CONTROL; NSN: 6615-01-688- 3654; Part Number: 70600-01844-102 applicable to the UH-60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) without First Article Testing is 120 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA.
This requirement is restricted to CMC ELECTRONICS INC, CAGE CODE: 38753, and to SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, CAGE CODE: 78286.
This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by emailing inquiries to: usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ame-sar@mail.mil and by looking under the Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
