About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure compressor units under a non-competitive single-source procurement action authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own the data or rights necessary to purchase or repair this part from alternative sources, and it has determined that acquiring such data or reverse engineering the component would be uneconomical. Interested parties may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to demonstrate their capability and interest in responding to this requirement. While this pre-solicitation notice indicates the government's intent to negotiate with a single source, all responsible sources are invited to identify their interest and capability. Proposals received within 45 days of the notice date (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) will be considered, with the formal solicitation due by February 27, 2026.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and involves nine units of compressor equipment identified by NSN 7H-4310-014507263-VM, Technical Data Package Version 004, Reference Number 2KX2-30A/B, with delivery required FOB Origin. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, and no incumbent contractor is identified. Interested vendors should consult the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) or ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/ to obtain necessary military and federal specifications, qualified products lists, and related standardized documents. Technical inquiries and document requests can be directed to the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179, or by mail to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
