About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure a shaft-driven compressor for repair and modification purposes under NSN 7R-1680-014873403-V2, Technical Data Package Version 005. This pre-solicitation notice indicates the Government's intent to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to express interest and capability. Interested parties must reference Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Products Lists (QPLs), and other standardized documents available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) or ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/. The Government will consider all proposals received within 45 days (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) from the publication date of this synopsis. The deadline for responses is January 19, 2026, providing potential contractors with approximately three weeks to prepare and submit their proposals or capability statements.

No set-aside designations are being applied to this contract opportunity. The procurement requires 35 units of the compressor component with delivery FOB Origin, with no incumbent contractor or current award value specified in the pre-solicitation notice. The contract is categorized under PSC 1680 for Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components, reflecting the specialized nature of the naval aviation supply requirement. While specific budget constraints or award values are not disclosed in this notice, the quantity of 35 units and the technical complexity of the repair and modification work suggest a substantial procurement. Interested contractors should contact the DODSSP Assist Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179 (DSN: 442-2667) for access to required technical documentation and specifications.
