Added: Oct 09, 2013 12:29 pm Modified: Nov 04, 2013 2:32 pmTrack Changes The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Prison Camp located in Yankton, SD (FPC Yankton). Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year, Inpatient Days - 125 days (Estimated), Outpatient Visits - 125 visits (Estimated); Option Year 1, Inpatient Days - 125 days (Estimated), Outpatient Visits -125 visits (Estimated); Option Year 2, Inpatient Days - 125 days (Estimated), Outpatient Visits - 125 visits (Estimated); Option Year 3, Inpatient Days -125 (Estimated), Outpatient Visits - 125 visits (Estimated); Option Year 4, Inpatient Days -125 days (Estimated), Outpatient Visits - 125 visits (Estimated). Estimated quantities for outpatient institution services are as follows:
Urologist -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.
Cardiologist -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.
Neurologist -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.
Orthopedic Surgeon -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.
Internal Medicine -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.
Pulmonary -8 visits per contract year, consisting of approximately 2 hours per visit.

The quantities referenced for outpatient institution services are expected to remain the same for each of the performance periods.
The solicitation will be made available on or about November 1, 2013 and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizoppps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is December 19, 2013. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offer equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
