27 Aug 2018 - The population and scope are still be developed for this acquistion but as the RFI response is being developed some additional questions to ensure are answered in the response:
1 - Does First Destinaton Transportation impact your transportation costs?
2 - What would be a rough transportation cost, if you needed to use your transportation resources to provide these items all over the world (CONUS and OCONUS)? Knowing at this time that the requisition history is not available at this time.
3 - What challenges/estimate of time would it take you to price all 13K items?
4 - Would there be challenges to your ability to comply with the Time Definite Delivery (TDD) requirements as sited in DLAI 5025.12; which states that CONUS is 4, 7, and 11 days based on priority or 1, 2, and 3 days for OCONUS via the central consolidation point (CCP).
5 - Assuming that DLA would do All or None by Group; would there be challenges? Meaning that DLA would anticipate awarding 1 contract instead of multiple contracts since could have a requirement for total supply chain management.
