About this opportunity
The USDA Forest Service Procurement & Property Services is issuing a notice of intent to competitively award a BPA Call Order for mowing services at the Colville National Forest Seed Orchard, with responses due by close of business May 21, 2026. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. The Forest Service intends to award against existing multiple award schedule BPAs for Botanical Surveys (original solicitation AG-046W-S-17-0023) to perform vegetation management and restoration services. The primary objective is to cut non-seed orchard tree vegetation to reduce fire risk and intensity and prevent spread of undesirable vegetation. Scope includes mowing all grass, forbs, woody vegetation smaller than ¼ inch ground line diameter, and woody debris smaller than 1 inch maximum diameter; larger diameter shrubs and obstacles such as rocks or steep slopes may be avoided. Interested contractors must submit organizational information (name, address, email, website, telephone, size and ownership type) and tailored capability statements with supporting documentation to Kevin D. Flores at kevin.flores@usda.gov by the response deadline. This is a synopsis of intent to award; submission is purely voluntary with no government financial responsibility. The applicable NAICS code is 115310 Forestry Services.
