The contract will cover Shipyard Field Operations, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Documentation, Logistics, and Hardware Production Activities. This effort is linked to work already being performed by NGSC-MS under a previous contract. The Government will publish an Award Notice, Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.

Northrop Grumman Corporation-Marine Systems is the current incumbent contractor. The value of the potential contract is not specified, but the Government is not providing any funding to cover the cost of responding to this announcement.
