Purusant to FAR 6.302-1 and the attached Sole Source Justification, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is soliciting Cepeda Associates for the repair and maintenance of the CO/H2 Scrubbers and Burners aboard a US Navy Ship. Period of performance has been changed to 12/2/19-12/18/19.

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit for the repair and maintenance of the CO/H2 Scrubbers and Burners aboard a US Navy Ship. Please of performance will be New London Subbase (NLON) in Groton,CT.
This requirement is to provide the services of a qualified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) representative to test and repair the Scrubbers and Burners of the CO/H2 system. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the proposed contract action is available from only one responsible source. Cepeda Associates is the sole manufacturer and refurbishment facility of the CO2 scrubbers and COH2 burners. Cepeda also developed the technical drawings and thus owns the proprietary data required to perform this work. The Period of Performance is 11/18/19-12/02/19.
A solicitation for this requirement will be posted on FBO.gov on or around 25 October 2019. Justification and Approval for Sole Source will be posted with the solicitation.
